Each Mirayama poncho is cut from silk velvet with a deep, soft pile that catches the light as you move. Our velvet ponchos are lined in mulberry silk and finished with long silk fringe that sways at the hem. They are luxury ponchos in the old sense: designed in London, made by hand and made to be worn for years.

Choose a long poncho that falls well past the hip, such as the Gypset, the Lotus or the Summer Cloud, or a short cut like the Black Rose, which sits at the hip over trousers or a slip dress. For warm evenings and travel, our silk ponchos are lighter, with borders embroidered by hand.
