Shipping policy

This policy explains how we deliver orders placed on mirayama.co.uk. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Preparing your piece

  • Pieces in stock are usually prepared and dispatched within 3 working days of your order.
  • Made-to-order and couture pieces are made for you after you order. We will email you to confirm the expected dispatch date once your order has been placed.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Delivery times below run from dispatch.

Delivery options and costs

All orders are sent with DHL and need a signature on delivery. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.

United Kingdom

  • Standard delivery: £15, usually 3 to 4 working days
  • Express delivery: £35, usually 1 to 2 working days

United States

  • Standard delivery: $65

Rest of the world

  • Standard delivery: £55

The countries we deliver to are those you can select at checkout.

European Union

This store does not deliver to countries in the European Union. Clients in the EU are served by our European store at eu.mirayama.co.uk.

Duties and import taxes

Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be charged import duties and taxes by the destination country. Unless we tell you otherwise at checkout, these are not included in our prices or delivery charges. They are payable by you, usually to DHL before or on delivery, and are set by your local customs authority.

US Customs may ask for further information on higher-value shipments (for example, orders over $2,500 may need the recipient's IRS or social security number). DHL will contact you directly if this is needed.

Customs clearance can add time to international deliveries. This is outside our control, but we will always help you track your parcel.

Receiving your order

We are responsible for your order until it is delivered to you, or to someone you have nominated to receive it. If your parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive, please contact us at contact@mirayama.co.uk and we will put it right.

If we cannot deliver your order on the date we expected, we will let you know. Unless we agree another date with you, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract being made.
